WUCC 2018: Kaos Ultimate (WA) Announces Roster

By Max Halden

In their first appearance on the world stage, Kaos Ultimate will be representing Western Australia at the 2018 World Ultimate Club Championships!

One of Australia's longest running clubs, Kaos Ultimate, has recently announced its roster for WUCC 2018, which conveniently coincides with the club's 10th Anniversary! The line up features athletes from the 2016 Firetails and a few familiar faces from the WA women's scene, but for the most part this will be the first worlds-level experience for many of these players.

Not wanting to place too much weight on tournament placing, player/coach Sarah Brereton wants her team to focus more on its preparation and ability to proudly represent the club and local Ultimate community.

"In 2018 Kaos will be celebrating not only our first WUCC appearance, but also our 10th Anniversary as a club." said Brereton, "it is very important to the team that we take this opportunity to put our biggest and best effort into this season so that we can walk out on field in Ohio as proud athletes and proud representatives of Kaos and the WA Ultimate community. We are aiming to showcase Kaos ultimate against the strongest teams in the world with a relentless work ethic, a love of competition and a strong contribution to Spirit of the Game."
